ok. I've still been getting messages about the songs I had in Honey 2, so I went to youtube, and the main dance scene song "Set it on Fire" has been collectively viewed ELEVEN MILLION times! That's crazy to me! Many of those stats are from people making up choreography to the song. I think I'm going to dedicate a page on my website to their videos...

So funny because I wrote it never intending to sing it...You never know how and when something is just going to work. lol

Only on page 20...

Just started reading this book "Coach Yourself to Success" after a friend of mine recommended it. Only 20 pages in and it has really affected my livelihood! I have been calmer and more focused the past 36 hours which is something I desperately needed. I'm always runnin around like a chicken with my head cut off, trying to accomplish so many things that none get the full attention they deserve!  The book hasn't changed that aspect of myself yet, but it's just helping me clear the air for that change to be made. The first thing it has you do is clear out all the little annoyances in your life, wether it be the dust bunnies in the corner, or a missing button on a favorite shirt. Anything that lingers in the back of your mind, or comes to mind often, is something that is wasting time and space! It could be used on more important things! The author Talane said it way better, but you catch my drift! So since I've been clearing out my head, I'm tackling a few things that I've been putting off, such as updating my AWESOME website (made by my little brother, the High Honors Art Institute Grad Brandon DePauw, BrandonDePauw.com) and beginning the release process of my debut album and music videos :-)))

So anyways, just wanted to share the book info with you! I'll keep you posted on new revelations!

Wow...the ASCAP convention was worth every penny...actually it was worth about $100,000! lol the information that we were blessed with and the inspiration that we left with were priceless...I have ALWAYS wanted to be a singer for as long as I remember, but for some reason, attaining that always seemed mentally like an ice castle on the top of a sand hill in the desert. Unfathomable. This conference retrained my brain in the way I think about what I'm doing, how I'm doing it, and how worthy my music is of competing with the best! Thank you to all the panelists that shared. Your words breathed new life into my dream!! <3 <3 <3ascap burrito
